Welcome to the Attfield Theatre

We hope that you enjoyed our last two productions, the classic Private Lives by Noel Coward which ran from Monday 9th to Saturday 14th March 2026 followed 2 weeks later by our youth production of A Midsummers Night’s Dream by William Shakespeare that ran from Wednesday 25th March to Saturday 28th March 2026. It was a delight to welcome so many of you, both familiar faces and new, to our theatre.

Or final production of the 2025/2026 season will be Sheila’s Island by Tim Firth.  What happens if you put four middle-aged, middle management women on an island in the middle of Derwentwater for a weekend of team building? Join us on from Monday 18th to Saturday 23rd May 2026 to find out!

Tickets are available now from our box office on 07544 113511 or at http://www.ticketsource.co.uk/attfield

We were delighted once again to have been recognised by NODA for our production year 2025, receiving the following nominations: Veronica’s Room (drama), Allo Allo 2 (programme) and the quality of our sets across the season.
We attended the awards ceremony on Sunday 29th March where we were even more delighted when Veronica’s Room won best drama.  The National Operatic and Dramatic Association (NODA) serves as the primary representative body for amateur theatre in the UK. Its purpose is to support, connect and celebrate amateur theatre groups by providing advice and performance reports to ensure high standards of practice and performance.
