The Attfield theatre Company Limited is a non-profit making amateur theatre company reliant primarily on ticket sales for income. This is boosted by Membership fees, the ocassional successful grant application and donations.
During our 2005 - 2006 season we introduced a Sponsorship scheme which gave local businesses the opportunity to sponsor a production. This was so successful we have adopted the scheme on a permanent basis. What is sponsorship?
Sponsorship is the support of a specific production by a specific sponsor.
What does sponsorship entail?
The sponsor is asked to make a minimum donation of £100 to the Company and add links to www.attfieldtheatre.co.uk from their own website. That's it!
What do you get for your money?
In return sponsors are given:
- a link from our Sponsors webpage
- a link from our Links page
- a whole page advert in each of the season's programmes - each production lasts for six nights and we produce at least four shows per season (we produced five during the 2006-2007 Season and aim to repeat that in our 80th Anniversary Season) that's potentially 3,000 hits!
- special prominence given during your specific production's programme
- a 'This production is sponsored by' tag line with all advertising and promotion for your chosen production including:
- Posters (at around 100 prominent places around the area)
- Handouts & Mailshots (1,000+)
- Prominence in any displays we put on
- Members bi-monthly Newsletter posted out to over 250 households
- Season Brochure (a minimum of 3,000 distributed through retail outlets around the Oswestry area)
- Press Relases
- Local radio mentions
All this for £100 for the whole season!
That's got to be great value for money!And there's more . . .
On top of that you are given space for a display and sales opportunity at each night of your sponsored play - face to face with the public!
How do I apply?
Easy! If you want to give your support to local theatre just e-mail Roger Williams with your details and he'll call you back to arrange a meeting.
We are currently looking for sponsors for our 80th Anniversay Season beginning in September 2008.
